Description
Hi Lisa I have a big class coming in and I am still having to edit profiles to put in Country information. I thought this was scheduled to be fixed?
I just approved the following as an example:
Abbas Fadhil Abd has requested membership to Defense Institute of International Legal Studies
Given Name: Abbas Fadhil
Family Name: Abd
Email Address: cptabbas@yahoo.com
Country of Residence: Iraq
Preferred Language: English
Where do you work: Government Agency
Reason for creating an account: To attend a course
Additional Comments/Remarks: It is a great chance to me to be included

Please do not respond to this message as it is sent from an account that is not monitored. If you have questions, please contact your Organization Manager.
Expected result
I expected the approved account to reflect the profile information entered into the account request form to transfer into the account profile for all three country fields.
Actual result
None of the country fields are saved when an account request is approved.
Lisa, if I'm not mistaken I believe some time ago there was a sprint that was scheduled to fix this???
Thank you, Nancy

Hi Nancy, going through and closing tickets resolved in this latest release and Friday hotfix. Let me know if you have any other issues. This one tests out just fine now.
Cheers,
Lisa
Thank you Lisa for the full details. I am so used to just clicking the link in the email notification I forgot about the other method.
I will used Method #2 until otherwise notified.
Appreciate your support.
Take care, Nancy
Nancy, I figured out the problem. This goes back an issue you pointed out before when approving accounts, that I'll call Method #1 - approve by clicking the link you get in the email notification and then the approve button at the top of the screen. With this method, the country codes don't get added as you have reported.
Method #2 - If you go to DIILS home page > Manage tab > View Account Requests and click the View link to the account request page and then scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Approve button at the bottom, this is works the way its supposed (adds the country fields to the user's account). I'm makimng a ticket in now to fix this because we were supposed to have these two views (links to page) working the same way. Clearly, they don't with this regression.
Would you please use Method #2 above to ensure your new accounts are approved correctly until the other method is fixed?
Thanks!
Cheers,
Lisa
So far, it is working for me for all the tests accounts I've created. Please disregard the requests I'm going to do for DIILS. The others I've done were for the SCCN org and that shouldn't matter, but this will tell if is isolated, if I can replicate here.
Lisa this has not worked even after the June Sprint.
Thanks, Nancy
Hi Nancy,
You're correct. Back in June was fixed, however, if not working for you now, we have an unfortunate regression. I'll test to replicate and create a ticket to report to the team. Apologies on the regression!
Cheers,
Lisa
