Description
Good Day, Happy New Year!
I need to know how (what ILIAS settings to select) to open up the DIILS Military Justice Systems course. (https://ilias.globalnetplatform.org/ilias.php?ref_id=2500&cmd=frameset&c...)
This course is currently offline and I need to add active GlobalNET members to the course.
This course will be taken during two separate Military Justice courses each year. Averaging 25-30 students.
If start and end dates are provided to take this course will the results be separated so it is easy to see who has completed the course?
Please provide guidance so I set this course up properly and can add members.
Let me know what other information I need to provide.
Thank you, Nancy

Great thanks Lisa.
It will be closer to the first course end of April.
Take care, Nancy
Nancy, closing this ticket, however, ping me whenever you want to do that session.
Thanks,
Lisa
Sounds good and happy to do a session whenever you like!
Thanks Lisa,
I have forwarded the information to Bill.
He wanted the previous Military Justice class to take it remotely but I suspect will pass now and do it for the next class.
Hope you are doing well.
I'll probably want an Adobe Connect Session with you at some point especially before I have to show students how to access and take the LMS course. Next MJ course is May 3rd 2019.
Thank you, Nancy
Hi Nancy,
On the course in ILIAS LMS, you'd manage the duration of the course under settings. Here, there is the Availability section for duration course is open and then Registration settings for how students will access. Keep in mind that you cannot just add people to a course if they have never accessed the LMS with us at all.
Therefore, the best method is to provide the students with the permalink to the course (located at the bottom of screen when on the Content section) and tell them the exact steps to get to the course. Something similar to what I sent out to all Org. Mgrs. for the annual course since just like you, the first time they ever access the LMS, they will land on their personal space. It will be best to advise them of this as first time access and then they can just go to the permalink any time thereafter, provided they are logged on to GN first.
Happy New Year!
Let me know if I can further assist.
Cheers,
Lisa
