28 Fellows Complete Transnational Security Cooperation Course
On Friday, 28 senior executives from 26 locations completed the Transnational Security Cooperation (TSC) course at the Asia-Pacific Center for Security Studies in Honolulu. Course Fellows came from: Australia, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Chile, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Kiribati, Malaysia, Maldives, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, New Zealand, Pakistan, the Philippines, Republic of Korea, Russia, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Tonga, the United States and Vietnam.
The course highlights emerging security issues in the region, with an emphasis on those requiring regional collaboration. A wide range of topics are covered in plenary presentations and elective sessions, including demographic change, economics, cyber security, transnational crime, climate change, and resource scarcity.
