Disinformation in the Transatlantic Arctic
By Alex Dalziel, Camilla Unsgaard and Henrik Häggström

We are pleased to highlight a new publication by our DKI APCSS alumna, Camilla Unsgaard, co-authored with partners from the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Canada office and the Swedish Defence University. Titled "Disinformation in the Transatlantic Arctic", the publication examines how misinformation and disinformation are increasingly shaping governance, security, and public trust across Arctic regions, with impacts on multi-jurisdictional governance of Canada and developing institutions in Sápmi, Sweden. As the Arctic grows in geostrategic importance, the publication underscores the need for stronger transatlantic partnerships and resilient communication networks to counter foreign interference.

The views expressed are those of the author(s) alone and do not represent the official policy of the DKI APCSS, the U.S. Department of War, or the U.S. government.
