Nearly 100 Senior Leaders participating in the Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) exercise visited the Daniel K. Inouye Asia-Pacific Center for Security Studies for a symposium on strategic security issues within the Indo-Pacific.

The day-long event held on the 2^nd of July, included Keynote remarks by Vice Admiral John Wade, Commander, THIRD Fleet. Presentations included diverse topics such as Integrated Deterrence, Gray Zone Challenges, Maritime Statecraft, Maritime Assurance & Resilience, and a Climate Change Experts Panel.

During the symposium, participants networked, examined mutual challenges, and ways to evolve/enhance partnerships & alliances while focusing on building a common understanding of security challenges in the geo-political landscape.  ​
