DIILS CONTINUES PARTNERSHIP WITH CONGOLESE ON RULE OF LAW
0 comments
KINSHASA – A graduation ceremony for 56 members of the Congolese armed forces
(FARDC) served as the most recent reminder of DIILS long-standing military justice
engagement program with the FARDC. This successful partnership involved a DIILS
team of Navy Reservists and Congolese magistrates. Together, they taught a three-day
Rule of Law course, one of a recurring series of engagements with the FARDC. The
event, which took place in November at a FARDC Military Camp in Kinshasa, covered
the Law of Armed Conflict, Human Rights, Command Responsibility and Gender-Based
Violence.
