DIILS ENGAGES WITH UGANDAN DEFENSE FORCES ON INTERNATIONAL LAW

DIILS instructor engages international participants.
DIILS conducted a seminar at Camp Singo, Uganda on international humanitarian law and human rights. The seminar, executed in accordance with the requirements set forth in Section 1207 of P.L. 112-81, was attended by 165 personnel from the Uganda Peoples' Defense Force. It focused on the significance of complying with human rights law and/or international humanitarian law across the spectrum of domestic and international military operations. Since this seminar is required by U.S. law and the attendees are not legal experts, it featured interactive discussions, case studies and practical exercises.
