DIILS Adjunct team and participants in Nouakchott, Mauritania, August 2012.

DIILS adjunct legal instructors recently completed a mission in Nouakchott, the capital city of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania.  Military and civilian leaders attending the U.S. human rights and counter-terrorism seminar discussed timely topics such as Internal Armed Conflict, Human Rights, Legal Aspects of Combating Terrorism, Rules of Engagement, Investigating Terrorists Acts, and Interrogation and Detention.
