DIILS congratulates LADSCA ALUMNUS Lt Col Vincent Sowa, Esq.

Congratulations to DIILS Alumnus Lt Col Vincent Sowa on his promotion as Legal Advisor to the Africa Mission in Somalia (AMISON), in Mogadishu, Somalia.

Lt Col Sowa attended DIILS Legal Aspects of Defense Support to Civilian Authorities (LADSCA) in 2014, which he credits with preparing him for this new role.   He also spoke remotely to the 2016 DIILS LADSCA Course from his deployed location, where he served as a legal advisor for the United Nations.

LADSCA Reunion in Somalia -- LT Catherine Nakirya, Deputy Legal Adviser for Uganda’s UPDF in Somalia with Lt Col Vincent Sowa, Esq. (Sierra Leone). Both attended the DIILS Legal Aspects of Defense Support to Civilian Authorities (LADSCA) course in 2014.
