The Near East South Asia (NESA) Center for Strategic Studies, in partnership with SETA, a prominent Turkish think tank, held a roundtable discussion in Istanbul, Türkiye, from 15–17 July 2024. The event brought together ten ambassadors and scholars from think tanks from Morocco, Egypt, Türkiye, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and Kuwait. Notably, five of the participants were women. The agenda encompassed a range of topics, including Turkish policy, the U.S election, global power competition, the war in Gaza, Iran, energy transition, climate change, economic development, and investment in human capital. Dr. Gawdat Bahgat, a faculty member of the NESA Center, facilitated the discussion. This session marked the fourth occurrence of this meeting.
