GCMC Alumni Programs is pleased to announce the 2023 Marshall Center Alumni Scholars Program.  This program offers Alumni the possibility to compete for research scholarships in residence at the Marshall Center in Garmisch-Partenkirchen Germany.  Due to COVID-19, we have not run this program since 2020, when we received 110 applications and awarded 15 scholarships.

For 2023 we will offer 10 scholarships at the Center to do in-depth research on a security topic.  This program includes five weeks in-residence including transportation, meals, lodging, and per diem expenses.  Scholars will be provided an office and assigned a faculty mentor.  At the conclusion of the five weeks, Scholars will complete a paper suitable for publication, and give a presentation to the faculty.

We are now accepting applications for 2023.  Completed applications must be received by 30 September 2022 to be considered.

Details on eligibility and application instructions can be found on GlobalNET (you must be logged in to GlobalNET to view the document) at:

https://globalnetplatform.org/system/files/fy23_alumni_scholars_info_memo.pdf

Please read the instructions carefully, as incomplete applications will not be accepted.  All applications and requests for further information should be sent to: mcalumni@marshallcenter.org

We look forward to hearing from you!
