The Combating Terrorism Exchange is a quarterly, peer-reviewed journal produced by the Global ECCO project. Written for practitioners, by practitioners, many of the articles are in the first person, recounted by the people who've "been there, done that." Our goal is to offer CT operators the opportunity to learn from the experiences of their peer community around the world. This issue of CTX looks at what went wrong, or at least not as right as it should have gone, on some very diverse battlefields.
