On April 23rd Marshall Center Alumni Programs opened the STACS Alumni Community of Interest (COI) Workshop: Examining Lessons Learned: Civil Security Operations in Major Disasters & National Security Events. This event, in partnership with the faculty of the STACS Program, is the 4th annual STACS Alumni COI Workshop. 70 attendees, including 45 alumni participants from 33 countries around the globe, are attending this three-day event at the Marshall Center.

Alumni Community of Interest events are a cornerstone of the Marshall Center Alumni Program, which serves over 9500 alumni of the Marshall Center. This event brings together multiple classes of the STACS Program from 2008 - 2011 and focuses on networking, updates on civil security topics, sharing of lessons learned, updates on the Alumni Program and tools available to graduates, and other professional education. It joins additional Alumni Community of Interest events for graduates of the PTSS, SCWMD/T and SSTaR Programs and for Counter Narcotics and Illicit Trafficking.
