How do I Tag content on GlobalNET?
Tags are labels that help categorize content by use of a simple keyword or general term. Tags can be assigned to a Group, Event or Course, or to GlobalNET content such as a Post or News article. Tagging content helps describe and categorize it and also allows it to be found easily in a GlobalNET search; tags can also help connect related content. Tags, Topics, Countries and Regions show up in a horizontal list under the Body section of the main page of most content types, along with a link to “See all tags.”
When creating new content, to add Tags:
- Click to expand the Tags field
- Begin to type the Tag name
- If the tag already exists, it will be found via the autocomplete
- If the tag doesn’t exist, type the name and enter to add to the system Tag List.
When creating tags, please observe these guidelines.

- A keyword or short phrase that is related to the content
- Useful and easy to remember
- Short and simple
A Tag should not be:
- Longer than a short phrase

- An abbreviation unless it is a branded term.
