How do I add images to my content?
Images are built into the page design for all content types. Additionally, an inline image can be added to the following types of content: Posts, News, Announcements, and an organization About Page.
To add a Main Image to any piece of content:
The "Main Image" appears before the text of your news item, between the title and author information. If you do not also upload a thumbnail image, this image will accompany any teasers for this news item. Files must not exceed 8 MB and be 800 x 500 in dimension. Allowed file types: png gif jpg jpeg. Images should be rectangular such that the horizontal dimensions are largest.
The "Thumbnail Image" will accompany the teaser for this news item. Allowed file types: png gif jpg jpeg.
- Navigate to the content entry form.
- Locate the Main Image browse button; in some content types, this is inside the Files section on the form.
- Click the Browse button and Upload a new file (or select a file you previously uploaded, in My Files).
- Fill out the rest of the form and Save your content.
- Your images will appear at the top of the page, below the title.
To add inline images to Posts, News, Announcements, or an organization About Page:

Navigate to the content entry form.

Click the Media Browser icon at the top of the Body or Description field (on the far right).

Upload a new file (or select a file you previously uploaded, in My Files) and click Next.

If prompted, fill out the Alt Text field (required) and Save.

Double-click on the image to edit Image Properties: Image Info (Width, Height, Border, HSpace, VSpace, Alignment); Link (URL, target); Advanced settings. Make changes and click OK.

Fill out the rest of the form and Save your content.
