Any group or course member can create a post to start a discussion.

To create a post:

1. Visit the group or course where you would like to post.
2. Best practice: before creating a post, check existing posts to see if a similar conversation is already started. You may be able to leverage the momentum and participation of an existing post by moving your question or comment into the existing post thread.
3. If you decide to add a new post, click the Add New Post button.
4. Fill out the fields and Save.
5. Your post teaser will appear at the top of the list of posts in the posts tab on the group or course.
