On 2 May 2021, Medium published NESA Center alum Dr. Saifaldin Al-Darraji's article titled "Diplomacy and the Concept of National Security."
"The role of diplomacy in facing the challenges and threats to which the state may be exposed is no less than the role of the security and military system. Rather, it may be considered the first phase to prevent the growth of armed conflicts and the risk of direct confrontation, as a result of the conflicts of its interests with the interests of other countries, in addition to what may result from security, political, economic and demographic repercussions," writes Al-Darraji.
