NESA Center alumna from Egypt, Dr. Eman Ragab, spoke during a three-day seminar at the Regional Expertise Center for Combating Drugs and Crime at the Naif Arab University for Security Sciences (NAUSS), a joint United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) Center of Excellence in Qatar. The "Drugs and Their Impact on Societal Security" symposium was held from 22 – 24 September 2024 in cooperation with the Qatar Police and the GCC Drug Criminal Information Center.

As the Director General of the Regional Expertise Center, Dr. Ragab presented a brief on drug prevention policies highlighting the disturbing trend of the increasing number of women and youth using drugs. She underscored the need for Arab law enforcement agencies to develop and expand evidence-based and data-driven drug prevention policies.
