Human Rights Watch released its annual review of human rights around the globe in its World Report 2023.

Human Rights Watch is an independent, international organization that works as part of a vibrant movement to uphold human dignity and advance the cause of human rights for all.

The 33rd annual World Report summarizes human rights conditions in over 100 countries and territories worldwide in 2022. It reflects extensive investigative work that Human Rights Watch staff conducted during the year, often in close partnership with domestic human rights activists.
