On 28 July 2023, Near East South Asia (NESA) Center for Strategic Studies Acting Director COL David Lamm, USA (Ret.) and Academic Dean Dr. Roger Kangas welcomed Ambassador Ghafoor Mohamed, Ambassador of the Maldives to the United States, and Zeena Didi, Counsellor at the Embassy of the Maldives to the United States, for a conversation on bilateral relations and NESA Center programming.

Professor Richard Wiersema and Assistant Professor Jeffrey Payne joining in the conversation. COL Lamm congratulated the recent opening of the Maldives Embassy in Washington, D.C., and discussed ways to enhance Maldives’ participation in forthcoming NESA Center efforts.
