    From 12–16 May 2025, the Near East South Asia (NESA) Center for Strategic Studies, in partnership with U.S. Africa Command and the European Institute of the Mediterranean (IEMed), held a focused workshop with 31 participants in Casablanca, Morocco, on “The New Face of Security, Conflict and War.” The senior government and civilian security experts came from 15 countries.     Senior Executive Seminar – Maritime Security: Present Challenges and Opportunities for Cooperation

    From 21–25 April 2025, the Near East South Asia (NESA) Center for Strategic Studies conducted a Senior Executive Seminar (SES), held in Washington, D.C., featuring 43 participants from 33 countries. The seminar focused on maritime security, developments in adaptable technology for the maritime domain, and how the Indo-Pacific impacts global security calculations.     From 9–16 April 2025, Professor Anne Moisan from the Near East South Asia (NESA) Center for Strategic Studies, in partnership with U.S. Africa Command, led the annual Tunisian National Defense Institute (TNDI) National Security Seminar for 52 Ministry of Defense senior government officials from 13 Tunisian agencies, as well as the President’s Office. This is the 14th year in the NESA-AFRICOM partnership with the Tunisian National Defense Institute.
