    On 2 September 2025, the Near East South Asia Center for Strategic Studies welcomed 25 students and faculty from the Bangladesh National Defense College, along with seven officials and staff members from the Bangladesh Embassy, for a professional military education program in Washington, D.C. The program was requested through the U.S. Security Cooperation Office in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Continue reading

    2025 Security Opportunities in the MENA Region Seminar

    From 25–29 August 2025, the Near East South Asia (NESA) Center for Strategic Studies hosted a five-day seminar titled “Security Opportunities in the MENA Region” held in Washington, D.C.     2025 Iraqi General Officer Capstone Seminar

    The Near East South Asia Center for Strategic Studies hosted a delegation of 34 Iraqi General Officers and senior representatives from the Iraqi security-related ministries for a Capstone seminar. The course focused on building partner capacity in strategic planning, leadership, and cross-coordination of the Interagency. The group was in Washington, D.C. from 27 July through 1 August 2025 and was escorted by representatives of the Office of Security Cooperation, Iraq. Continue reading
