38th Issue of per Concordiam & Current Themes
The Marshall Center is pleased to announce the publication of the 38th issue of per Concordiam (Volume 10, Issue 2, 2020) with a focus on strategic communications in the era of social media, “fake news”, and constant technological change. Congratulations to all of our alumni contributors, including MAJ (Ret.) Susan Osembo (Kenya, STACS 14-06), Dr. Bekim Maksuti (North Macedonia, SES 18-11), Dr. Zelimir Kesetovic (Serbia, STACS 10-2), Ms. Marija Blagojevic (Montenegro, PASS 18-16), and Ms. Vanya Denevska (Bulgaria, ESS-E 19-13). Also, to the following Marshall Center contributing faculty members: Dr. Ralf Roloff, Dr. Pal Dunay, and Dr. Sebastian von Muenchow. per Concordiam is a professional Journal for European Security and Defense Issues and is published quarterly in English and Russian by the U.S. European Command and the George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies. It addresses defense and security issues in Europe and Eurasia for military and security practitioners and experts. The current hard copy circulation of per Concordiam has over 10,000 audience members in 154 countries. The Marshall Center encourages all of its alumni to consider contributing as authors. Article submissions should be written in the 2009 AP style, must be 2,000 – 5,000 words in length, and must pass review and approval by the editorial board. 2020 themes for which articles can still be submitted include:
European Democracies
High North – Arctic Security
Pandemic (ex. of bilateral national aid (i.e. USA to Italy); positive civil-military cooperation; aspects of collective defense against mis / dis-information)
