All our courses through June 2020 are postponed, as well as academic visits to our partner countries in the Americas. On Tuesday, March 3rd 2020 the William J. Perry Center for Hemispheric Defense Studies hosted the Hemispheric Forum "Cuba's Continuing Regional Influence". The event featured subject matter experts from academia, Cuban dissidents, and US policymakers as they explored the question of how the Island maintained its disproportional impact in the region. Speakers expanded on Cuban diplomacy, cooperation, and intelligence gathering activities, and US Policy towards Cuba across different administrations. Continue reading
