 Honduras Transnational Threats in the Northern Triangle

Perry Center Professors Boris Saavedra and Celina Realuyo conducted a Countering Transnational Threats in the Northern Triangle Seminar in collaboration with the Colegio de Defensa Nacional (Honduran National Defense College) in Tegucigalpa, Honduras on February 23, 2017.  The seminar addressed topics like the convergence of terrorism and crime, U.S. strategy to combat transnational organized crime, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies.  There were over 95 participants from the Colegio de Defensa Nacional (CDN), Universidad de Defensa de Honduras (UDH),  Honduran military and police forces, government agencies like the 911 Emergency Center, and academia; also in attendance were several alumni of the Perry Center.
