First interview of PfPC’s new Euro-Atlantic Spot Series is out now!

Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany, January 19, 2021  - “Outbreaks of Disease have left behind defiance Desperation and Disorder,” Mr. Brian Jenkins, Senior Advisor – Rand Corporation.

The first Video Clip of the Partnership for Peace Consortium new series of short interviews with prominent thinkers and policy makers on important defense and security issues called the “PfPC: Euro-Atlantic Spot Series” is available on You Tube now.

In this first clip  Mr. Brian Jenkins speaks about the potential impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on political violence and terrorism. Mr. Jenkins is widely considered the Father of Modern Counter-Terrorism Strategy, is a senior advisor to the President of the Rand Corporation, has served an advisor White House, and the Catholic Church. He discusses the virus in a historical and current global context, and focuses on how the indirect consequences of the virus will effect global security. He then offers some advice to policy makers on how to approach the effects on vulnerable populations.
