PfPC Convenes Virtual ADL Working Group Meeting

Garmisch-Partenkirchen, 31 March 2021 - The PfPC Advanced Distributed Learning (ADL) Working group convened a virtual meeting on 31 March 2021 to discuss ongoing projects with 30 experts in this field.  The group highlighted how virtual platforms have been leveraged to continue security cooperation efforts in the COVID environment.  Swedish ADL representatives presented how ADL technology can be increasingly used in future exercises to create greater return for stakeholders.  Maturing ADL in Exercises constructs will be utilized in the next VIKING exercise.  Furthermore, the Partner Language Training Center Europe (PLTCE) presented how joint synergies with NATO Bureau for International Language Co-ordination (BILC), in cooperation with PfPC, have provided online English language testing capabilities for partner countries.  Finally, NATO representatives presented on the NATO DEEP eAcademy and future certification and accreditation of e-learning instructors.
