ADL Sofia 2014
From PfPC | by PfP Consortium | 09 Nov 2014

The PfPC's  Advanced Distributed Learning (ADL) Working Group is underway with a Workshop hosted by the Rakovski National Defence College in Sofia, Bulgaria. Rear Admiral Mitko Petev, Commandant of Rakovski National Defense College, kicked off the event. There are approximately 40 e-learning professionals from the United States, Western & Eastern Europe, and the South Caucasus.

The ADL Working Group is discussing enhancing ADL capabilities, improving NATO e-learning platforms as well as new initiatives. The group is furthermore examining the applied application of ADL principles to the Defense Education Enhancement Program (DEEP).

Defense education transformation is an important part of the defense institution building process underway in many of our partner nations. The ADL WG helps partner nations achieve their defense education goals, which in many cases helps towards NATO aspirations and other broader objectives.
