47th Issue of per Concordiam
The Marshall Center is pleased to announce the publication of the 47th issue of per Concordiam (Volume 12, Issue 3, 2023) with a focus on “Strategic Deterrence and Arms Control." Congratulations to both of our alumni contributors, including Mr. Martin Verrier (Argentina, CNIT 15-14) and Col. Jeffrey Pickler (United States, GARSS 22-22, iPCSS 22-03, and ESS-E 22-09). Also, to Marshall Center faculty members Dr. Katrin Bastian and Dr. Ralf Roloff for their contributions and Dr. Pál Dunay (recently retired from GCMC) for his framework article and serving as the edition’s SME lead. per Concordiam is a professional Journal for European Security and Defense Issues and is published quarterly in English and Russian by the U.S. European Command and the George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies. It addresses defense and security issues in Europe and Eurasia for military and security practitioners and experts. The current hard copy circulation of per Concordiam has over 10,000 audience members in over 150 countries. The Marshall Center encourages all of its alumni to consider contributing as authors. Article submissions should be written in the 2009 AP style, must be 2,000 – 4,000 words in length, and must pass review and approval by the editorial board. 2023-2024 themes for which articles can still be submitted include:
- Security Challenges (Balkans)
- Europe and its Southern Partnerships
- Energy Security
- Ukraine End State
- China in Europe (Volume II)
- Irregular Warfare, Grey Zone activities
