On 28 March 2024, The Diplomat published NESA Center alumna Shanthie Mariet D'Souza's article, "After Attack in Russia, Focus Turns to ISKP in Afghanistan and Central Asia."

Dr. Shanthie Mariet D'Souza is a Fulbright-Nehru Visiting Chair at the School of Public Policy, University of Massachusetts, Amherst, USA; Founder of Mantraya, Visiting faculty at the Naval War College, Goa, India, and a Non-Resident scholar at the Middle East Institute, Washington DC.
