During the NESA Center-U.S. Africa Command workshop series in Bangkok, Thailand from 29 April – 6 May 2023, the NESA Center released its first-ever Women, Peace and Security (WPS) E-Book.

The book, titled “Women, Peace, and Security, On the 23rd Anniversary of UN Resolution 1325 and NESA’s Formation: 22 Countries and 33 Women’s Voices,” is a collaboration of opinion pieces and video lectures by 33 women from 22 countries that addresses the many issues that continue to plague women in the NESA region and beyond.

This book launch celebrates the 23rd anniversary of both the NESA Center's formation and the United Nations Security Council Resolution (UNSCR) 1325 on Women, Peace, and Security.
