DIILS SEMINAR IN EL SALVADOR PROMOTES BORDER SECURITY
El Salvador participants working together on discussion problems.
From August 13-17, 2012, DIILS conducted a seminar in San Salvador, El
Salvador on the Legal Aspects of Border Security. The U.S. Navy, Marine
Corps, and Coast Guard Judge Advocates presenting the course led discussions
on today's most pressing border security challenges, including human
trafficking, weapons proliferation, and combating transnational terrorism.
The program stimulated a robust and productive dialogue among the 47
representatives of various Salvadoran agencies regarding 21st Century legal
solutions to these border security challenges.
