Zeneli Presents on Good Governance at the NATO School
OBERAMMERGAU, Germany (Feb. 2, 2018) – Dr. Valbona Zeneli, professor of National Security Studies, spoke at the NATO School in Oberammagau on "Good Governance and the impact on European Security” Feb. 2.
The course’s title is NATO European Security Cooperation with about 60 participants from NATO countries and partner nations.
The aim of this two-week course is to increase interoperability and collaboration between NATO and European security agencies while, building confidence and mutual trust among officers and defense civilians of NATO, European Union, Partner for Peace Consortium, Mediterranean Dialogue countries and other Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe nations.
The course ends Feb. 9.
The NATO SCHOOL Oberammergau is NATO's premier facility for training and education at the operational level.
NSO conducts hundreds of multinational programs annually in direct support of current and developing operations, strategy, policy, doctrine and procedures.
The student population is diverse, military and civilian, representing NATO nations, partner nations and international organizations – all coming together in a conducive learning environment to create the shared understanding and interoperability that is at the core of successful multinational operations. Since its founding, NSO has graduated more than 200,000 students. Today, NSO welcomes 10,000 students and conferees annually.
