On 21 June 2023, Ceylon Today published NESA Center alumna Charani Patabendige's latest Op-Ed "Let’s March Onward, All as One" on preventing extremism in Sri Lanka and using diversity as a tool.

"...diversity paves the way towards empathy which will prevent extremist activities. Further, diversity promotes social cohesion and reconciliation."
