From 16–24 April 2024, the Near East South Asia (NESA) Center for Strategic Studies, in partnership with U.S. Africa Command, held its annual Tunisian National Defense Institute (TNDI) National Security Seminar for 45 senior government officials from 14 Tunisian agencies, as well as the President’s Office. On Friday, 12 April 2024, the Near East South Asia (NESA) Center for Strategic Studies held a hybrid roundtable discussion with about 15 Iran experts in London. Chatham House, a leading British think-tank, organized the meeting. Academic Dean Dr. Roger Kangas and Professor Dr. Gawdat Bahgat represented the NESA Center. The agenda covered two sessions, the first on Iran’s domestic landscape and the second on regional and international dynamics. Continue reading

From 27–28 March 2024, the NESA Center for Strategic Studies held an inaugural Israel Indo-Pacific Roundtable Virtual Workshop on Zoom. The workshop provided a venue for participants from Israel and across the Indo-Pacific region to discuss shared interests, identify new areas for cooperation, and strengthen their partnerships.
